Yesterday I tried a new limited edition drink from McDonald's called "SPRITE X SAKURA". It's sakura only in its name, though, as it has passion fruit in it. There is a mango variant, too, but they didn't have it available.
To be honest, it tastes... interesting (?)... and it's *super* sweet. I prefer sour sodas. It's drinkable, but to me this remains a one-time experiment.
I also definitely needed to drink lots of water and a coffee after it to neutralize the sweetness, so I wouldn't get a very bad headache. We're not friends with sugar in general.
That being said, even if the taste was more enjoyable (it's not that bad, it's just not my kind of flavour), I don't recommend it. I looked up the nutritional values and [drumroll, please] the Sprite and the syrup together are 76g of sugar! Do you know what's WHO's daily recommendation? 25g. TWENTY. FREAKING. FIVE! This is madness.
