A recent report on Japanese online game developers claims that 100% of those surveyed use generative AI tools. Yeah, Japan is generally not nearly as anti-AI as some other places. AI-generated stuff is all over the place at train stations, signs, restaurants, etc.

I honestly wonder how much AI Nintendo used for the Ocarina remake. It’s the most AI-looking game I’ve seen yet, and Nintendo has a record for cheaping out whenever they see a clear benefit and think they’ll get away with it.
