‼️DOCUMENTATION IS NOT COSMETIC‼️ It no longer surprises me—but it never fails to infuriate me—how bad/nonexistent the documentation is for so much software. I am not going to call out the project, but I am trying to get a new utility set up, and I looked in the Github Issues to see if anyone else had commented on the abysmal documentation. There is an open issue from December of 2019 with comments as recent as June 2025. The documentation does not appear to have meaningfully improved in the interim, though the project itself has been consistently active. In 2023, the lead dev commented in the thread that he just didn’t ever seem to have time for “‘cosmetic’ things”. ‼️DOCUMENTATION IS NOT COSMETIC‼️
