@halcy a good C compiler will do what you ask of it exactly or better. if a C compiler does not do this, it is a bug.

@necrophcodr I feel rather Trust, but Verify about that type thing if I call it in a loop but yeah I am pretty much sure it would in 100% of cases but also a full preprocessor CRC32 would just be really funny
