A few weeks ago I had the dystopian experience of going to a modern pizzeria. I remember a nice lady working at the counter last year, but I will probably never see her again. She was replaced by a "food locker", inspired by the parcel lockers you see next to every shop nowadays. You can no longer pay with cash, can't even ask for a bag. Instead, you get to look at a TV screen and wait for 20 mins without seeing your order show up. A truly frustrating and dehumanizing experience.
