@jon_alper@mastodon.online they aren't "failing to control them". theres objectively no way for that to occur. the 'ai agents' aren't sentient, they are generative algorithms, that generate the most likely thing off of their database under given rules that modify that process. in laymans terms, autocomplete. hence, the companies are lying. they are intentionally directing their generative llms to generate hacks (which are generated off of existing ones mashed together) and possibly then autonomously email them or input them into vulnerable website fields- which is something malware could do decades ago. they aren't recieving consequences for this because A; the billionaires are backing them or even are them, B; the billionaires give the ok for which politicians are elected via donations and pay-offs (if any politician posed actual threat to them- ie making them not billionaires, not minor taxes to appease public and prevent revolution- they'd spare no expense on annihlation), C; the politicians and executives are largely tech illiterate, And D; the shareholders are happy because this looks powerful and hence profitable, or recognize its a scam and intend to sell- either due to gambling or due to having inside info (such as being A- billionaires themselves). The solution to this problem, the way they recieve consequences, is to revolt. Help your community avoid reliance on capitalism and the state. Defend it from them if neccesary. Every major revolution of 'rights' in state history, has been to appease revolution. To allow the powerful to stay powerful. Don't let them stay powerful. Continue ignoring them.

@jon_alper@mastodon.online I’d say it’s a testament as to how sick TPTB are. Blaming all of society for the overlord’s actions is misguided.
