Suddenly pushes to bring her home from a child psych unit (that was only getting compliance from her because they were sedating her non-stop) turned from intense pressure to an IMMEDIATE reversal of a 9-month waiting period for residential treatment to an available spot opening up… tomorrow.
This PRTF also had significant problems: failed to assign her a therapist after the one she was initially assigned left for a better opportunity. Ignored us when we said she wasn’t ready; shamed us.

I forgot to mention - One of the hospital staff that reported us to DHS has, THE DAY BEFORE, called my daughter a sociopath (possibly right, but completely inappropriate for her to do in her position) The actual help we needed was a psychiatrist to provide an Rx for an anti-psychotic. Problem is, a growing kid will grow a tolerance to a fixed dose over time. At which point, the urgency for support is pretty sudden.
