@gamer@sk.girlthi.ng ...lol microsoft actually made a token compressor paper once. not sure why nothing ever came of it. probably something to do with choosing what to keep/forget doesn't bench as well (mamba networks do it, but then can't reason about things they incorrectly forget, but then those papers didn't test them with tools where they could just ask again)
