Crazy to think there might be a parallel timeline where the USSR never fell, the Cold War staring contest has continued well into the Information Age, and somehow the geopolitical situation is actually more peaceful than ours.

That's why I believe in Chinese Socialism. Communism wasn't all bad, it had a great median quality of life compared to GDP. Loads of parks, free housing, schooling, healthcare, guaranteed jobs. Nobody starved, nobody was judged for their money.
