@poopernova@varishangout.net @Kyonko802@varishangout.net @Ronnie21093@varishangout.net >A lot of things in Vintage Story are things that can be done in parallel to the active task I do think this is where a lot of the problems I have mentally come from. If I just weren’t aware there were other things to be doing, I’d be fine. But I’m aware there’s stuff that could be done, things left running, that I’m not doing or don’t know about personally. That’s damning me to feel like I’m fucking up nonstop while I’m also just plain not doing very well to begin with.

  • @Iffine@varishangout.net @poopernova@varishangout.net @Kyonko802@varishangout.net Consider the following: Since it's a sandbox, there's no need to rush to do everything. Hell, it's totally reasonable to do stuff just when you need to. Getting a farm going is probably the only thing I'd truly say you need to do :thonk:

@Iffine@varishangout.net @Kyonko802@varishangout.net @Ronnie21093@varishangout.net Yeah, the only way to mitigate that feeling to playing the game more and knowing what things can be done over time, which is understandably difficult when you're not having a great time in the first place :jefuty_yeah: Well most important thing is just to survive, whether it's gathering enough food or knowing how to deal with wolves and bears (running away or dump them in a deep hole, this keeps them from respawning btw) everything else is secondary in the end, it's not like you have a hard time limit for anything
