Wings: Wild Life (Apple SW-3386, 1971)
Filed under “McCartney” because let’s be serious. Although “serious” is not a word you’d ever use to describe this tossed-off collection of trifles. I love it. Cracks me up how *not* hard Paul was trying. My copy is falling apart but it plays fine. Fine enough for such a silly album anyway.

Paul McCartney & Wings: Red Rose Speedway (Apple SMAL-3409, 1973) And here’s where Paul decides he likes having hits again and sets the blueprint for his next 50 years: a big sappy ballad, a couple screamy rockers, one or two really good songs, and a bunch of sentimental filler that most songwriters would chop off their left hand to be able to do as effortlessly. @vinylrecords@fedigroups.social #vinyl #PaulMcCartney #Wings
