I seem to be fighting a losing battle, supporting the right to free speech. Free speech just means nobody gets gagged or silenced. It does not mean they don't get mocked, jeered, argued against or ignored. If free speech is restricted then for a short while things appear more pleasant until speech you didn't want restricted begins to be blocked. Censorship starts out with good intentions and always ends up with an unmitigated disaster. Welcome to 1984 where people view censorship as normal.
