Paperback, I mean its latest development release, shines with graphics and images containing text. It extracts text from them in an elegant way. So here's an example of a figure in a DAISY book. The figure itself has alternative text which says: [Figure: Figure 10.A4 West Asia and North Africa. Source: Author.] [Image: Drawing of a bustling marketplace with striped awnings and stalls displaying colorful goods. Multiple figures in period dress and head coverings browse and conduct trade. The scene uses warm earth tones and muted blues, depicting a historical spice market in West Asia and North Africa.] Not bad. But if I press Enter on that image, its text gets recognized and displayed this way: West Asia and North Africa Maintaining Dominance in the Spice Trade West Asian and North African powers sought to maintain their historic dominance in the spice trade by controlling key trade routes and major market centres. These regions served as crucial intermediaries between Asian spice producers and European consumers, leveraging their strategic geographic position to maximise economic and political influence. @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space
