As hardened career criminals, racist thugs, and actual self-described Nazis all race to defend Ed Sheeran, I am drawn to one particular line in Macklemore's comments:
"Refusing to take a side is still making a choice."
If the Nazis have noticed that your inaction is aligned with their goals, then you have chosen a side, actually. There is no neutral position in genocide.
