Regardless, if affordable enough, the carbon addition, or even a foam pre filter could work well.

@Random_Seed@bitbang.social Carbon filtration is great, but it's not especially feasible to fit inside the filter box, because the filters themselves are the structure. They reach all the way to the edge of the fan housing, so there's not a great way to get the carbon between the filters and the fan. Besides, to get either enough loose activated carbon or a carbon filter with enough weight of carbon to make a difference would cost more than the whole CR Box.
