@afewbugs@social.coop It’s not an accident, somebody is paying a lot of dicks to make YouTube videos and fb posts about how the RNLI is deliberately importing migrants. Seeing the other story this morning about Ilfracombe pensioners breaking traffic lights because they cause brain cancer makes me think there is no story too stupid to not gain traction.

@afewbugs@social.coop I wonder if any lawyers would like to comment on the RNLI suing people for defamation? I’m sure they’d be very reluctant to do so, but if nobody fights back, this scaremongering will get worse.

@afewbugs@social.coop I think we need to call these 'protests' what they are: terrorism. If they want to protest against refugee policy, they should do it outside parliament or the Home Office, don't do it at a time and place where the objective is to intimidate or physically attack vulnerable people, humanitarian volunteers or emergency services.
