The impeachment process is broken. Its like a referee throwing a flag on the play against “the red team” and then asking “the red team” players if there was really a violation and if a penalty should be applied.

What the hell else could be the point of winning control of Congress? Putting trump in a cell is the last hope for American democracy (if any such hope exists).

Considering that the Senate failed to convict him when he attempted to stoke a coup, I have little hope for an impeachment to anything but another one for the pile.

I’m happy just to see how many impeachment tallies Trump can rack up, because I can’t think of anyone else more deserving of being the most impeached president. But it’s a useless gesture, because you don’t need just a majority to remove the president from office, you need a supermajority. And that’s just not happening unless Trump manages to piss off the majority of Republicans, too.

The only possibility of this happening is if Israel activates their representatives in the House and Senate, but I only see that happening if Trump acts up against them.

They’ll keep trump around as long as they can. Being just to the left of trump gives them much more area to operate in than being truly a left leaning party. More bribe checks to cash. he’s the best thing to happen to the dem centrists since… the start of the republic maybe.
