@asmodai@mastodon.social I'm looking at docs which say "Mastodon’s full-text search allows logged in users to find results from their own toots, their favourites, and their mentions" (https://docs.joinmastodon.org/admin/optional/elasticsearch/). Is there another set of docs which says something else (i.e. about bookmarks being searched, rather than favorites)?

@daphne@masto.ai I wonder if that might be a historical remnant. Bookmarks got added at the end of 2019, before that the only option was favourites. Bookmark search was added in 2020. A quick test just now shows my bookmarks get hit when I search on keywords appearing in those messages. So maybe it needs a replacement of favourites with bookmarks in that text. I'll file an issue to update that text to include bookmarks at least. Thanks for pointing that out.
