@derickr @ramsey @OndrejMirtes @joeposaurus Indeed. Most people don't even know that there ARE codes of ethics in our profession.
I want to do a keynote on this topic at some point. It's desperately needed.

@Crell @derickr @OndrejMirtes @joeposaurus My favorite part of the ACM Code of Ethics is this line: “Each ACM member should encourage and support adherence by all computing professionals regardless of ACM membership” (sec. 4.2). https://www.acm.org/code-of-ethics#h-4.1-uphold,-promote,-and-respect-the-principles-of-the-code.
