@DJDarren@mendeddrum.org #ThePlaylistSuggestion Three songs that came immediately to mind, and I couldn't come up with anything better. No bed suggestion right now but maybe I'll find something to suggest before the week is out. Black Grape - Kelly's Heroes Scott Walker - Hero of the War The Beach Boys - Heroes and Villains (The Smile Sessions Version) (and yes, I am insisting on the Smile Sessions version https://youtu.be/ptxwWt2JeGQ, it's the only one in which Brian's epic vision was able to play out properly - it was put together by Brian in 2011 from masters recorded shortly before he fell apart in 1967)

@DJDarren@mendeddrum.org Can I also add, though, if nobody suggests it you still probably need to play Holding Out for a Hero as tribute to the late great Bonnie Tyler.

@DJDarren@mendeddrum.org #ThePlaylistSuggestion Hey, you know how I said I'd come back with a bed suggestion once I'd thought of one? Here's a bed suggestion: Black Prairie - Hero Theme

@RolloTreadway@beige.party @DJDarren@mendeddrum.org perfect choices, Rollo. All good, but that Beach Boys one is especially good. I did an immersion with a FB group last year where we went album by album through the band’s entire back catalogue and it was mostly wonderful. I’d never heard Holland before at all, as far as I know. Anyway. Brian was the real deal.
