I suppose the cat's out of the bag. I'll be at #NHAMfest #NHAMfest26, with "Live in Absentia", a prerecorded* concert of original music, performed and recorded lovingly and amateurishly over the last four days and inexpertly mixed and edited by a complete novice (me).
Streams Thursday 27 August 2026 at 10.00 UTC (20.00 AEST, 18.00 AWST, 12.00 CEST, 06.00 EDT) at https://fest.nham.co.uk/ (no registration required, just drop in at the appointed time).
My show's an hour long, but come and go as you like, and please stay for as much of the rest of the 24-hour Fedi artist showcase as you can. Be amazed at the talent that the Fedi has to offer!
* I'll be at a conference but maybe I'll be able to join in the chat.

This time tomorrow! Come watch for free at https://fest.nham.co.uk/ and hear some of my new stuff, including: • The Cleaning-Up Rag, a tale of woe and Hammerbarn orders gone awry. • See Me Now, an anthem about defeating adversity that you’ll swear is by the band 1927. • Reviewer 2, a creepy gothic horror about academic peer review. Also old favourites, including Big Boat Stuck [with a new verse!], Clank! I Just Thought of the Romans Again! [with a new verse!], Space Parity [“I’m on Hold to Telecom”], and many more. With a guest video appearance* by none other than Void, and candid cat content. Schedule in the previous toot. 👆🏻 #NHAMFest26 #music #LiveInAbsentia #RadioFreeFedi #IndieMusic
