Microsoft account DRM isn’t enough for you?

Ah yes, the famous DRM. Some launchers allow you to play fully offline, but only after you’ve authenticated and started the game at least once with a real Microsoft account. The launcher has a sophisticated validation mechanism to ensure this: a single boolean value stored in a JSON file. Set that to true and you’re good to go.
