Regular expressions are very powerful, yet can be tricky to create.
Would you like to see a set of "challenges" that we complete and learn from together?
Conditions:
- No outside help (websites, AI, local tools)
- No peeking in the answers
- We have to decide on a single tool that works on #Linux and #BSD using the same regex engine

@mboelen@mastodon.social I find them fun. Choosing a dialect can be a challenge, but if using a site like regex101.com, you can choose the engine per-challenge. But I'd stick to grep's BRE or ERE, or possibly Perl's PCRE2 for broadest applicability.
