I use a paper towel in the bottom of a cup for drying out my #fountainpens. I rarely get ALL of the ink out, especially in my #vintagepens where vigorous cleaning just means more wear and tear on the filling mechanism. After many pens have each donated their water along with a bit of ink, I get this fun slow-motion chromatography mosaic.

@prettygoodonpaper@penfount.social A salad spinner is a good tool for cleaning out vintage pens. You just have to zip tie a holder for the pens.
