Volunteers Needed: Saturday, May 9th, 2026 10am-1pm @ Lorton Library We are in need of Greeters, Childcare volunteers, Repairers, and Knife Sharpeners for our event this weekend. Do you sharpen knives at home? Do you fix things - software, hardware, textiles, jewelry, anything - at home, or for friends? If so - great! We'd love to work with you. But even if you don't, we would *still* love to work with you. Greeters are our most essential role, enabling the whole event to run smoothly, and being a greeter requires 0 repair background. We have blurbs about these roles here: https://volunteernow.volunteerfairfax.org/custom/1427/opp_details/191239 But if logging in is a barrier, you don't need to sign up there. You can also DM this account, or email me at anicski@proton.me If you have questions, let me know! Please boost if you know people in the region. 🔃 ✅
