We took BART from Oakland to Concord, then rode to Napa and stayed with a friend. I think it was about a 40 mile ride?
We do our annual cherry picking ride in Brentwood. BART to Antioch, then a ~18 mile ride to lunch and cherry farm, and back. https://ascentale.com/u-pick-fruit-picking-in-brentwood-by-bike-in-2026
We've ridden from Oakland to San Rafael, taken the SMART train to Santa Rosa, and rode the rest of the way to Guerneville for an overnight trip, and back. I forget how many miles. ~40 each way total?
Hopefully many more possibilities will open up when I get that Brompton..
