@brian@leaseysocial.com @DavidGoldfield@allovertheplace.ca @startrek2025@mastodon.stickbear.me @bitwarden@fosstodon.org @bitsacb@dragonscave.space I have no idea what version I’m on. I think it’s the latest, but when I press insert control V, to try to obtain that information, Jaws won’t give it to me. I also cannot get past the welcome screen with Jaws. I should also say that I recently completely reinstalled the operating system due to performance issues. Jaws is the only screen reader I have installed, and unless I can’t help it, I plan to keep it that way. Narrator is an absolute disaster with 1password. I just tried it.

  • @JessDail@caneandable.social @brian@leaseysocial.com @startrek2025@mastodon.stickbear.me @bitwarden@fosstodon.org @bitsacb@dragonscave.space Jess, let me focus right now on the 1Password issue. Once you're in the 1Password window, you can determine which version you're running by pressing control+comma to open Settings. There are several tab controls. Move down (by pressing down arrow) to the About tab. Each tab control should be selected as you move from one to the next, so you should hear "About tab, selected." Next, press the tab key. You might hear the version number being announced. You'll also be focused on a Copy button, which copies the version number of 1Password to your clipboard. You likely are using version 8 but I'd just like to confirm this.
