Can it be considered a substitute to VISA and MasterCard?
I wonder if it could help with financial freedom, especially in cases like Autistici/Inventati, where their bank Banca Etica had to suspend their account to protect all its other customers from American retaliation.

I'll tag @Taler@fosstodon.org as well in case they'd like to add anything 🙂
