I've finally done it, cancelled our Zoom subscription. I was irrationally irritated by them emailing me with an expiry date in North American format (I live in the UK & they know it) but... wait for it! When I went to cancel the subscription, they offered me a discount for staying. Yes, I know it's common but that's no way to reward loyal customers, by charging them more. We're using a European alternative and our piloting has been pretty successful. And, as a bonus, they even use the term expiry rather than expiration for the end date of the subscription. #Zoom #AmericanArrogance #VideoConferencing
