I thought I'd encountered an eldritch horror at bedtime last night. Flicked the lights out and there was this tentacled shadow creature spread across the ceiling... Turns out the multiplug strip has a unsuitably bright "on" light and a bunch of cables had fallen across it 🤣🤣🤣
