@joe@f.duriansoftware.com Yeah I was impressed. Every other programming language for the C64 came with its own editor. I never used it back in the day, but recently ported it to the Commander X16 (and to the expanded VIC-20, on which it didn't previously run; it worked on PET and C64/128).

@ben@s.djehuti.com looking back, if you can’t/won’t do full-screen visual editing, the BASIC mode of line editing is quite a bit more approachable than things like ed
