unironically I think the dialogue in Star Wars (at least a new hope) is very good, and it's because of shit like this. Yeah, nobody talks like this, but that's not the goal. The goal is to cram as much character and drama into it as possible and I love that. it conveys so much with so little, just by having the characters say exactly what they're thinking and by saying it dramatically.
