Like you, I had my Mastodon account deleted.
I made the "mistake" of querying a post about Israel and was immediately inundated with vile attacks from the Israeli quadrant
They got me immediately barred, Mastodon leapt to it and complied, never asked my side of the story or offered explanation. I was wiped.
Learnt my lesson there.

@AJSnook2@mastodon.social ugh yeah that sucks. In some ways, running my own instance makes me a bit immune from that kind of over-zealous moderation, but it's not without other problems! 😭
