- I never said I designed the Transputer accelerator, I built it from parts I got from the guy who designed it in the 80s.
- I said I used Claude because I ran out of time and the code wasn't working. All but one of the fixes on the RISC OS side were human-done... and I still had to figure out by hand why the slop Occam was inefficient.
sigh...

Don't get me wrong, I'm chuffed that one of my talks ended up in El Reg, but I don't at all appreciate my "this worked, but use it cautiously" being twisted into "buy Anthropic's slop". I'm pretty sure I ended the talk with "I'm going to rewrite this code by hand when I have a few minutes because it's unreadable and I hate it" but that might not be in the recording. Argh etc
