Whenever my brain generates a voice making a criticism of my art like “why does the arm look weird” or something, the response is always “because I’m not that good at drawing!!!!!!! what about it!!!?!!!!” Which… as a defense mechanism… its the same as small animals who play dead or expel all their internal organs
