@jef@mastodon.social I once changed someone's life, my ex- & best friend, by telling her that the point of the turn signal wasn't to indicate the precise location of the turn, but to indicate to people behind you that something was about to happen leftward, or rightward. She was like, "Ohhhhhhhhh. That makes sense."

@jef@mastodon.social I want all vehicles to be modified so the signal stalk engages the steering wheel lock. It should be impossible to turn more than 1 degree without activating the indicator. I figure it would wipe out most of Florida in the first few months of implementation.
