@MonaApp@mastodon.social I would love to know how you are creating alt text with Apple Intelligence. I'm trying this with VisionKit and Foundation Models in my apps, but I’m really excited to see Mona do this. You always bring amazing features in your releases.

@MonaApp@mastodon.social Not at all thrilled about this. Most Blind folks I follow on here find LLM-generated AltText to be weird and often completely missing the point of the image. Not to mention the damage to the environment, copyright infringement, corporations using LLMs to eliminate jobs so billionaire CEOs can get even richer, etc., etc. Not to mention that the “AI" bubble is on the brink of bursting. Please don't encourage people to leave AltText creation to brainless autocomplete.
