When I was a young teenager, I worked at BK. I was friends with most of the workers. Most of them. There was one weasly little shit who wouldnt help anyone except the cashier he had a crush on. It wasn’t his job, he had to work on something else, he leaves in a half hour. Take your pick, he made an excuse for it. One day I was done with his bullshit. Almost got him fired and arrested. All it took was one snide remark and taking a punch to the face. He wouldn’t help me? Well I went out of my way to help him with something. It was a big job and he sheepishly thanked me. “Ya, its called teamwork.” Thats when he hit me. It was such a pathetic punch it took me a second to realize he punched me. It took me another second to realize why he punched me. So I stuck a metaphorical dagger in and twisted. While the manager chewed him out, I made the choice to not press charges. I didnt try and have him fired or anything, I would just let him suffer in his own mistakes. He quit after they found his till low on cash.
