why is it that i still feel like skyrim from 2011 had better TAA than all of these modern games?
I remember people complaining about Skyrim's TAA causing some ghosting. But modern games are 10x worse. They ghost like hell and also seem to introduce more blur than skyrim's TAA.

Anti-aliasing just seems to be getting worse and worse. These days games force a TAA that ruins the image. Or if you're lucky you can switch to a probably entirely untested FXAA implementation that doesn't seem to do anything. Or of course, throw upscalers at the problem (bleh)
