As much as I don't want to promote the network that I never want to be part of, the article doesn't mention that ID verification isn't mandatory to use the service, only to have your content "boosted"/"promoted", whatever that means.

@thisislieven@c.im @malteengeler@legal.social And now to contradict what I found a few months ago, on https://denys.dev/w-mythology-vol1/, there is a quote saying "You may browse all public content without verification. Posting, commenting, messaging, and interacting with other users requires identity verification.", which isn't the same as what the video says. 🤷 Just to be more annoying, like X is now, you can't even read anything unless you have an account, which is pretty lame.
