It's like running an ad proudly featuring cannibalism. Maybe you're not really a cannibal at home, but you've still got a screw loose if you thought that was a good idea for an ad.

@argv_minus_one@mastodon.sdf.org @_elena@mastodon.social I agree and it's a bit surprising as I thought she was known as a sharp-elbowed and intelligent woman (nobody's fool). People deferring to chatbots has a long history; since Joseph Weizenbaum's secretary asked him to leave the room so she could converse in private, even though she'd *seen him write the software*. Is MM that clueless or "dazzled" by the prospect of further riches? Almost certainly latter.
