I was curious how the app would look if I just gave in and made the background white. The Liquid Glass buttons are so much more subtle! But the personality is gone, and… I just don't think everything needs to be bright white. #MacDev #iOSDev

It *is* possible to have more control over the styling of toolbar buttons, using the prominent glass button style with a tint color. I believe this appearance is only possible in SwiftUI though, and on macOS it's a bit of a hack. This would also require a completely custom search button/field. I already have a mostly finished AppKit/UIKit app, so… as much as I prefer this, it's a lot of work just to be fussy about the color of some buttons. #MacDev #iOSDev #SwiftUI
