@peterbrown@mastodon.scot successive governments have done all they can to return us to the days of Parish Relief. And are fully onside with the idea that the highest level of benefit should be much worse than the lowest that can be gained from work. They're turning it into a stick to beat us with and it's immaterial if you've spent forty years working your arse off - you will now be classed as shiftless and idle once you claim.
