@remixtures@tldr.nettime.org I don't think people really hate the tech, but hate the madness from the overhype of it and the forced inclusion on everything. It's natural to oppose to something that is literally being developed by corporations with the intention to mess and control us.
When the dust settles, we will have an opening for real ai applications in its niches where it's useful, and with sane development and distribution models, also without the environmental damage

@perdidonavida@mstdn.party That's not the way it seems, judging by reading the blogs of the most popular anti-AI pundits. It's like that same old cliché generalization of using "Silicon Valley" to designate the big seven tech companies when Silicon Valley and the Bay Area are probably one of the most progressive places in the USA.
