When you hear two people having a "conversation" but both talking at the same time, are they really conversing or just both running their mouths while pretending they are actually listening/interested in what the other person is saying?

@acesabe@infosec.exchange They are not interested in hearing what the other person is saying. Sometimes i hear people start talking when i am talking and i just continue until the other person who is trying to interrupt me shuts up.
