@RuthODay2@chaosfem.tw @malcircuit@thingy.social I do it here in the USA. It's colloquially called "burping" the house. Open a window or two, turn on the bathroom exhaust fan or kitchen range hood for a few minutes. I have some #Netatmo sensors around, connected to #HomeAssistant that lets me see plots of the CO2 levels for a day, a week, or months.

@RealGene@hachyderm.io @RuthODay2@chaosfem.tw @malcircuit@thingy.social here in Australia, we'll have doors and windows open most days, except in the very coldest parts of the year, so burping the house is usually unnecessary. Even on our coldest days - for us in single figures above 0C and just below 0C overnight - we'll still find a time to open up. Living in a rural area and heating with wood, once the inside of the house hits about 23C, we'll open a few doors or windows to keep the air fresh and flowing, even if the fire is on.
