@crowgirl@hachyderm.io You can install ecryptfs tools from the ecryptfs-utils package (sudo apt install ecryptfs-utils). This works in the live desktop, until you reboot (which resets you to a clean slate).

@crowgirl@hachyderm.io IIRC ecryptfs is the other encryption thing that distros commonly offer out of the box, besides LUKS, and it's not LUKS.
