but it’s smaller and more flammable, while everyone at the top of the other ladder have flame throwers that they use on a daily basis and the people at the bottom have matches that they use on anyone trying to convince them to switch ladders.

That’s true, and past experience has shown us the necessity of ladder armoring and having our own flamethrowers to ensure a safe jobsite. As for the match-tossers, they can be overcome with numbers, which are more in our favor and less in theirs every week.
