i never met anybody who disliked apartments until i moved to america
but then again most apartments in america are pretty terrible
same with buses

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io I first realized how terrible American apartments are when I lived in Italy. Over there, it's all marble tile and high ceilings and every window has a balcony and they're QUIET because everything is concrete and stone. Here, they are claptrap garbage hovels in old houses that used to be kinda nice before they were broken up, if you're LUCKY. And if not they're common wall wannabe condos with no character at all.
