The fact that existing democracies (like all human endeavours) are flawed doesn’t mean that democracy is a bad idea.

ig the question is how much of the flaw is build into the idea, but i suppose that depends on the version of the idea. parlamentary and representative democracy as well as the idea of a state are inherently flawed for example
